Franklin E. Brown passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Montrose Memorial Hospital in Montrose, Colorado. He was 90 years of age.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Mesa View Mortuary ~ Cemetery, Delta, Colorado. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Kremmling Cemetery, Kremmling, Colorado.
Franklin E. Brown was born on October 18, 1919 to the late Emery and Helen (Adams) Brown in Kremmling, Colorado. He spent his childhood in Kremmling, Colorado and resided there for 40 years. Frank also resided in South Dakota; Eckert, Colorado; and Montrose, Colorado.
Mr. Brown loved his horses and he was a true rancher at heart.
Mr. Brown is survived by his daughter, Fran Gustin of Fort Fairfield, Maine; four grandchildren: Jennifer Watterson of Montrose, Colorado; Bryan Gustin of Anchorage, Alaska; Donnie Skinner of Parker, Colorado and Dwain Skinner of Arvada, Colorado; seven great-great grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Uhl of Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Helen Brown; daughter, Helen Rose; son, Emery; and 2 sisters, Lillian and Martha.
